It's just a short drive away, making it convenient for us to attend the races. The cottage itself was beautifully furnished and immaculately clean, providing a comfortable and cozy atmosphere for our stay. The off-road parking was a huge plus for us as we had a large family vehicle. We were also impressed with the attention to detail, with everything we needed provided, including emergency supplies and a thoughtful gift of eggs. We can't wait to return for a longer stay next time!
My kids wished there was a playground nearby for them to enjoy.

Oh, the horror! The water pressure was slightly lacking.

Adlington Cottage in Lancashire is just a short drive from Haydock Racecourse, which was an absolute blast for our whole family! We had so much fun cheering on the horses and enjoying the lively atmosphere. The cottage itself was the perfect home base for our trip, with its cozy atmosphere and comfortable beds. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for our large family, and the open fireplaces added a touch of charm to our stay. Plus, the ample parking space was a huge bonus for our family-sized vehicles.
In my wife's opinion, it would have been even better if there had been a small playground or outdoor play area for the kids.

I got really great value for my money at this lovely cottage in Lancashire. The room was cozy and clean, and the attention to detail was amazing, with thoughtful touches like a basket of emergency supplies. The location was perfect for visiting family, and having off-road parking was a huge bonus. The staff even left us a gift of eggs, which was such a sweet gesture. Can't wait to stay again!
Just one small thing that could make the breakfast offerings even better would be to have a wider variety of pastries.
